Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Point-to-point by Elie Lambert was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2016. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,941.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elie Lambert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deauville, Clairefontaine, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,974.40).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.941,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Elie Lambert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deauville, Clairefontaine beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 16.974,40) versteigert wurde.
