Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2014 Christies in London held the auction Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work Mr George, early morning, Deauville by Elie Lambert. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,567.89), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elie Lambert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deauville, Clairefontaine, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,974.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mr George, early morning, Deauville von Elie Lambert zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.567,89) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Elie Lambert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deauville, Clairefontaine beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 16.974,40) versteigert wurde.
