Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Senza titolo by Elica Balla for EUR 504.00. This price was achieved in the auction Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elica Balla - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lotto di due opere: a) Transito di luce firmato Elica Balla (in basso a sinistra); firma, data e titolo Elica Balla 1974 Transito di luce (sul retro) olio su tela cm 139x58,5 Eseguito nel 1974 b) Giardino del lago firmato Elica Balla (in basso a dest, which sold at auction in November 2011 for EUR 1,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Senza titolo von Elica Balla für EUR 504,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Elica Balla mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lotto di due opere: a) Transito di luce firmato Elica Balla (in basso a sinistra); firma, data e titolo Elica Balla 1974 Transito di luce (sul retro) olio su tela cm 139x58,5 Eseguito nel 1974 b) Giardino del lago firmato Elica Balla (in basso a dest beobachtet, die im November 2011 für EUR 1.300,00 versteigert wurde.
