Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Elica Balla could be acquired at Christies in Milan in November 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post war and Contemporary Art auction, the work Cielo di Marzo changed hands for EUR 868.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Elica Balla have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2011 by the work Lotto di due opere: a) Transito di luce firmato Elica Balla (in basso a sinistra); firma, data e titolo Elica Balla 1974 Transito di luce (sul retro) olio su tela cm 139x58,5 Eseguito nel 1974 b) Giardino del lago firmato Elica Balla (in basso a dest at EUR 1,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elica Balla konnte im November 2006 bei Christies in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post war and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Cielo di Marzo für EUR 868,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
