This artwork by Elias Pieter van Bommel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2007. In the 19th Century EuropeanArt auction, the work Activities on a quay in a riverside town sold for EUR 6,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elias Pieter van Bommel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch a Busy Harbour With Merchants Unloading Their Goods in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 63,150.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elias Pieter van Bommel erzielte im April 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt wurde die Arbeit Activities on a quay in a riverside town für EUR 6.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elias Pieter van Bommel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch a Busy Harbour With Merchants Unloading Their Goods im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.150,00.
