Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Eko Nugroho was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 85,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,834.75). Admittedly, works by Eko Nugroho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seneng Kuwi Larang Regane (Happiness is Expensive to Buy) in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 77,054.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Eko Nugroho kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 85.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.834,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eko Nugroho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seneng Kuwi Larang Regane (Happiness is Expensive to Buy) im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 77.054,58).
