The work Have A Nice Day by Eko Nugroho was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,024.98), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eko Nugroho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seneng Kuwi Larang Regane (Happiness is Expensive to Buy), which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 693,000.00 (€ 77,054.58).

Die Arbeit Have A Nice Day von Eko Nugroho wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.024,98) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Eko Nugroho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seneng Kuwi Larang Regane (Happiness is Expensive to Buy) beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 693.000,00 (€ 77.054,58) versteigert wurde.
