Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Phillips in an online auction held the auction The Eye That Shapes: Further Selections from the Peter C. Bunnell Collection, which included the work Selected Images by Eikoh Hosoe. The price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,753.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eikoh Hosoe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yayoi Kusama (Imaged Taken In 1964, Printed In 2016) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 83,329.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion The Eye That Shapes: Further Selections from the Peter C. Bunnell Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected Images von Eikoh Hosoe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.753,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eikoh Hosoe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yayoi Kusama (Imaged Taken In 1964, Printed In 2016) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 83.329,57).
