Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Prayer before the meal by Egbert van Heemskerck the Elder for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,082.06). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture at Christies and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Egbert van Heemskerck the Elder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Doctor'S Surgery in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,341.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Prayer before the meal von Egbert van Heemskerck the Elder für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.082,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture bei Christies erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
