In the Old Masters auction, the work A group of figures carousing in an inn changed hands for USD 1,000.00 (€ 882.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Egbert van Heemskerck the Elder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Doctor'S Surgery in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,341.84).
