Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Edwin Deakin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. In the California Art auction, the work Tallac (Aspens Near Fallen Leaf Lake) sold for USD 5,376.00 (€ 4,928.49) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edwin Deakin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vernal Falls in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 60,312.50 (€ 51,112.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edwin Deakin erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California Art wurde die Arbeit Tallac (Aspens Near Fallen Leaf Lake) für USD 5.376,00 (€ 4.928,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edwin Deakin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vernal Falls im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.312,50 (€ 51.112,29).
