In November 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Point Pleasant by Edward Willis Redfield. The »bidding war« ended at USD 492,500.00 (€ 465,588.96), 41% above the upper estimate. Other works by Edward Willis Redfield have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 730,000.00 (€ 691,156.98) in November 2015 for the work Road To The River.
