Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,987.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A river estuary with a windmill and cottages, boats in the foreground and cattle watering at the river edge in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,204.70).
