Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,530.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A river estuary with a windmill and cottages, boats in the foreground and cattle watering at the river edge in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,204.70).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.530,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A river estuary with a windmill and cottages, boats in the foreground and cattle watering at the river edge im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.450,00 (€ 26.204,70).
