The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,457.38), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Moran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Commerce of Nations Rendering Homage to Liberty in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,327,500.00 (€ 1,254,963.13).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Moran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Commerce of Nations Rendering Homage to Liberty im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.327.500,00 (€ 1.254.963,13).
