Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Stalin by Eduard Gorokhovsky was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,859.14) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduard Gorokhovsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Group Portrait In An Interior, which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Stalin von Eduard Gorokhovsky wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.859,14) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eduard Gorokhovsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Group Portrait In An Interior beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33) versteigert wurde.
