Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn In Samarkand And Evening In Samarkand (Two Works) by Eduard Gorokhovsky was sold in the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,098.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduard Gorokhovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Group Portrait In An Interior in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn In Samarkand And Evening In Samarkand (Two Works) von Eduard Gorokhovsky wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.098,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduard Gorokhovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Group Portrait In An Interior im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33).
