Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Ballistics Expertise by Eduard Gorokhovsky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,728.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduard Gorokhovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Group Portrait In An Interior in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ballistics Expertise von Eduard Gorokhovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.728,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Gorokhovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Group Portrait In An Interior im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33).
