Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eduard Gorokhovsky could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary East auction, the work Running On The Spot changed hands for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,563.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduard Gorokhovsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Group Portrait In An Interior, which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eduard Gorokhovsky konnte im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary East wechselte die Arbeit Running On The Spot für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.563,12) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eduard Gorokhovsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Group Portrait In An Interior beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33) versteigert wurde.
