Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Red And Black Composition by Eduard Gorokhovsky. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,273.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduard Gorokhovsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Group Portrait In An Interior, which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red And Black Composition von Eduard Gorokhovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.273,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eduard Gorokhovsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Group Portrait In An Interior beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33) versteigert wurde.
