Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red And Black Composition by Eduard Gorokhovsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,952.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduard Gorokhovsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Group Portrait In An Interior, which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.952,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden.
