Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Untitled, c. 1970 by Edmund Teske. Here, the upper estimate of USD 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 720.00 (€ 567.51). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmund Teske - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images, which sold at auction in October 2010 for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,799.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, c. 1970 von Edmund Teske zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 720,00 (€ 567,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Edmund Teske mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selected Images beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.799,34) versteigert wurde.
