Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Art, which included the work 'That ain't tobacco you're smoking Fred'; 'But if I buy the goat I don't know how to milk it'; and 'My weight has now flopped' (all illustrated) by Edmund Blampied. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,502.19), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00.
