Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Art, which included the work Preparations for lunch in a Jersey kitchen by Edmund Blampied. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,347.95). Other works by Edmund Blampied have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 15,535.00 (€ 24,327.01) in November 2002 for the work Fording the stream.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Preparations for lunch in a Jersey kitchen von Edmund Blampied zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.347,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Edmund Blampied haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.535,00 (€ 24.327,01) im November 2002 für die Arbeit Fording the stream beobachtet.
