In November 2012 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Flor Sanky by Edgar Negret. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,568.79), 72% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Edgar Negret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aparato Mágico in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 105,059.67).

Im November 2012 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flor Sanky von Edgar Negret zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.568,79) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edgar Negret auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aparato Mágico im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 105.059,67).
