Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Outsider(s), which included the work Deanna On Bed - 1998 by Ed Templeton. The price achieved of EUR 2,710.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ed Templeton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Brutality of Belief in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,704.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Outsider(s) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deanna On Bed - 1998 von Ed Templeton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.710,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ed Templeton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Brutality of Belief im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.704,08).
