Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Artcurial held the auction An Urban Christmas Online, which included the work Vampire Girl – 2001 by Ed Templeton. The price achieved of EUR 260.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ed Templeton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Brutality of Belief in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,704.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Artcurial die Auktion An Urban Christmas Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vampire Girl – 2001 von Ed Templeton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 260,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ed Templeton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Brutality of Belief im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.704,08).
