Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ed Templeton could be acquired at Sothebys in London in February 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Erotic Online auction, the work Blurry Buns Up In California changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 724.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ed Templeton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Brutality of Belief in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,704.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ed Templeton konnte im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Erotic Online wechselte die Arbeit Blurry Buns Up In California für GBP 625,00 (€ 724,38) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ed Templeton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Brutality of Belief im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.704,08).
