Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Apex Predator - 2002 by Ed Templeton was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,491.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Ed Templeton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Brutality of Belief in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,704.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Apex Predator - 2002 von Ed Templeton kam im Oktober 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.491,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ed Templeton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Brutality of Belief im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.704,08).
