"Holy fuck those hands are ridiculous! Also, I started seeing all sorts of stuff about the Illuminati’s infiltration of hip hop as a tool for manipulation and keeping people subservient, so I composed this image to resemble the Masonic compass, hoping that those same people would see it."

The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,788.00 (€ 4,086.02), 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ed Piskor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Original Slipcase Art For Volumes 3 & 4 Of "The Hip Hop Family Tree", 2015, which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,752.69).
