Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ed Clark was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,607.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ed Clark achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Made in Manhattan in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 746,000.00 (€ 635,272.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ed Clark kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.607,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ed Clark erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Made in Manhattan im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 746.000,00 (€ 635.272,08).
