A top price for Ed Clark
When the work Made in Manhattan by Ed Clark was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 120,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than six times as high at USD 746,000.00 (€ 635,272.08). This high result makes Made in Manhattan the most expensive artwork by Ed Clark that we have observed at auctions so far.
