The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,201.02), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ebony G. Patterson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ...Bearing Witness..., which sold at auction in December 2018 for USD 72,500.00 (€ 63,285.61).
