This artwork by Duncan Cameron achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Edinburgh in May last year. In the Scottish Art auction, the work Harvesters at eventide sold for GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,499.75) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Duncan Cameron; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Haymakers sold at auction in April 2009 with the realized price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,682.21).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Duncan Cameron; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Haymakers im April 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.682,21).
