In October 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Wang Kefu, A Story Of An Art Lover 2 by Duan Jianyu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 188,800.00 (€ 19,437.51), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duan Jianyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sister No.14 (Diptych) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wang Kefu, A Story Of An Art Lover 2 von Duan Jianyu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 19.437,51) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duan Jianyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sister No.14 (Diptych) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.000.000,00 (€ 455.316,49).
