The work Landscape No. 5 by Duan Jianyu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 19,624.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duan Jianyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sister No.14 (Diptych) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape No. 5 von Duan Jianyu kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 19.624,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duan Jianyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sister No.14 (Diptych) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.000.000,00 (€ 455.316,49).
