This price was achieved in the auction The Ullens Collection - The Nascence of Avant Garde China at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duan Jianyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sister No.14 (Diptych) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Ullens Collection - The Nascence of Avant Garde China bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duan Jianyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sister No.14 (Diptych) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.000.000,00 (€ 455.316,49).
