Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Artistic Chicken No. 7 by Duan Jianyu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 18,469.92). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duan Jianyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sister No.14 (Diptych) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Artistic Chicken No. 7 von Duan Jianyu kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 18.469,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duan Jianyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sister No.14 (Diptych) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.000.000,00 (€ 455.316,49).
