Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work „Hallstadt Hallstatt on the Lake, Austria“. by Drahomir Joseph Růžička was auctioned at Grisebach in November 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 625.00. Admittedly, works by Drahomir Joseph Růžička have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pennsylvania Station, New York in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 3,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit „Hallstadt Hallstatt on the Lake, Austria“. von Drahomir Joseph Růžička im November 2019 bei Grisebach versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 625,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Drahomir Joseph Růžička auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pennsylvania Station, New York im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.720,00.
