Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,311.95). Admittedly, works by John Murray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pavillion and Mosque Attached to the Taj in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,755.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Great Panorama of the Taj Mahal, Agra von John Murray wurde im September 2001 in der Auktion 19C INDIAN PHOTOGRAPHS FROM THE KANWARDIP GUJRAL COLLECTION bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.311,95) einen neuen Besitzer.
