Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Paisaje by Dr. Atl. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 23,229.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Atl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paisaje von Dr. Atl zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 23.229,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dr. Atl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
