The work Paisaje Con Volcán by Dr. Atl was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2012. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,604.50), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Atl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paisaje Con Volcán von Dr. Atl wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.604,50) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dr. Atl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
