In May 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale Evening Session, which included the work Autorretrato by Dr. Atl. The »bidding war« ended at USD 181,000.00 (€ 116,323.91), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Atl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).

Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale Evening Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autorretrato von Dr. Atl zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 116.323,91) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dr. Atl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
