Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Autorretrato Con Paricutín by Dr. Atl was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2012. It achieved a price of USD 122,500.00 (€ 94,158.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Atl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Autorretrato Con Paricutín von Dr. Atl kam im November 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 94.158,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dr. Atl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
