Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,496.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Douglas Stannus Gray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The artist's drawing room, King's Avenue in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,276.64).
