Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Open House, which included the work Highway 50, Nevada #1 by Doug Hall. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,928.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Doug Hall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Highway 50, Nevada #1 in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,543.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Open House durch, in der auch die Arbeit Highway 50, Nevada #1 von Doug Hall zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.928,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Doug Hall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Highway 50, Nevada #1 im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.543,33).
