Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trains Crossing The Park by Dong Kingman was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,092.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dong Kingman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Typhoon Shelter, Hong Kong, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,297.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trains Crossing The Park von Dong Kingman wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.092,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dong Kingman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Typhoon Shelter, Hong Kong beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.297,74) versteigert wurde.
