Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Central Park Parade by Dong Kingman. It changed hands for a price of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 12,805.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Dong Kingman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Typhoon Shelter, Hong Kong was auctioned for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,297.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Central Park Parade von Dong Kingman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 12.805,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Dong Kingman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit Typhoon Shelter, Hong Kong für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.297,74) versteigert.
