Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Still Life of Flowers by Donald McIntyre. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,446.45), 21% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Donald McIntyre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trevine No 1 in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,466.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life of Flowers von Donald McIntyre zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.211,25 (€ 1.446,45) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Donald McIntyre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trevine No 1 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.466,28).
