Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Going to School by Donald McIntyre was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 4,449.72). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donald McIntyre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trevine No 1, which sold at auction in April 2021 for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,466.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Going to School von Donald McIntyre wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.840,00 (€ 4.449,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Donald McIntyre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trevine No 1 beobachtet, die im April 2021 für GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.466,28) versteigert wurde.
